Lincoln County Music Supply, Inc. (LCMS) opened its doors in September of 1993 with a mission to provide high quality band instruments to beginning band students.  We love beginners - their enthusiasm and energy. The excitement and joy on display when a new band student opens up the case of their first instrument rivals Christmas morning. Every fall it is a treat to witness your child's amazement, wonder and pride. This singular moment is why we work so hard to provide a wide range of quality new and used instruments that have been thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and put into excellent playing condition.  We want your child to have the best, most beautiful instrument you can afford and get a real chance to discover the power of making music.

Thirty years+ later LCMS still services school districts across Northeast and Central Missouri. A store goal has always been to support the band teacher. This includes providing new and high quality used instruments for beginning band students at an affordable price. It especially means repairing instruments in a quick and efficient manner - play testing every instrument to be sure it leaves the shop right the first time -  and oftentimes fixing a horn on the spot during our reliable school service visits.  Being supportive also requires having a good working knowledge of instrument and accessory products that will bring value and longevity to the school band program.
